Keep brows dry for 24r hours post lamination service. Press pause on brow washing/showering, sweating, applying skin care, and makeup on brow hairs for 24 hours only. Plan showers and brow makeup needs around this window! After the 24 hours, resume normal routine.

SLEEP

Lash Extensions

Invest in a convexed sleeping eye mask and/or silk pillow cases to protect your lash extensions. Sleeping on your lashes can cause some lash extensions to decorate your pillow instead of your eyes.

Lash Lift

24 hours NO FACE SLEEPING!

Lash Extension Do’s
  • Rinse and/or wash lashes after sweating, swimming or crying.
  • Be careful of oils in skincare and makeup. Oils, natural or introduced, will break down the extension adhesive over time.
  • Avoid strong heat such as ovens, fresh dishwashers, bbqs, bonfires/campfires,blow dryers, and lighters. High heat will distort your extensions. They will look and feel tangled and singed.
  • Avoid saunas and steam rooms.
  • If you are a seasonal allergy sufferer, try washing more often to keep the allergens from collecting in your new fluffy pollen-catchers.
Lash Extension Don'ts

Do not…

  • Overly brush your lash extensions, especially when wet.
  • Use blow dryers, to dry lashes. Use a handheld fan instead.
  • Use cotton or q-tips on your extensions, as cotton fibers will catch and leave white fuzzies tangled in your lashes.
  • Pull or pick at your lash extensions, as it will take out your own lash too.
  • Use waterproof or oil-based eyeliner/eye makeup. Waterproof makeup is almost impossible to remove off of extensions and will make your extensions fall out faster. We sell an extension safe eyeliner as a safe option for added eye drama.
  • Wear mascara on lash extensions. A fill will not be performed on lash extensions with mascara on them. A removal will be the only option.
  • Use a metal eyelash curler, this will break the adhesive and you will shed your extensions.
  • Cut the extensions. They will look WEIRD.
  • Use makeup setting sprays, facial toners or spray sunscreen directly onto skin. Spray onto hands or brush to apply to the face to avoid your lashes.
SCRUBA DUB DUB

Every lash extension client is required to use an approved lash wash. You’ll need to wash your extensions daily, or twice daily if oil causes retention issues. Use a fluffy eyeshadow brush with your purchased lash cleanser. Finger use in cleansing is not effective at getting in between the lashes. Rinse thoroughly. Pat dry with a paper towel or non-catching cloth. Let them completely dry before gently combing with a lash brush.

CAUTION!

The following products can make your skin more sensitive. Sensitive skin is more susceptible to lifting during waxing. Discontinue use of these medications for a minimum of three (3) months prior to waxing (waxing is a part of a Brow Lamination service): Adapalene (Acne medication), Alustra (Retin A), Avage (Acne medication), Avita (Retin A), Azelex (Peeling agent), Clindamycin, Differin (Acne medication), Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Isotretinoin (like Accutane), Madifloxicine, Metronidazole, Prednisone, Renova (Retin A), Retin A (Acne and Anti-aging medication), Tazarac (Acne medication), Tazarotene (Tazorac), Tetracycline, Tretinoin (Retin A). SUN EXPOSURE/TANNING

Avoid tanning bed use or prolonged sun exposure within 24 hours of brow appointments.

BROW GROWTH

Avoid trimming/threading/waxing/tweezing for up to 4 weeks prior to brow appointment.

EXFOLIANTS

Do not apply Retinol, Retin-A, BHA/AHA, or scrub exfoliate 72 hours before your brow appointment to avoid making the skin more sensitive to perm solutions and waxing.
